Stay connected with B&G’s range of VHF and AIS products
A VHF radio is a must have communication device for safety at sea and one of the most important items onboard your boat. Whether you’re looking for a fixed mount system at the chart table or a flexible handheld offering whilst on the rail, B&G offer a choice of sailing VHF radios. For a fully integrated navigation and safety system, add AIS to your marine electronics system.
Stay safer on the water with V60 VHF marine radios which feature a built-in GPS and a full Class B AIS receiver, and in the case of V60-B also a transmitter. See and be seen by nearby AIS-equipped vessels. This low-profile design radio grants flexible mounting options and supports up to two optional wireless handsets.
The H60 wireless handset is designed for use with B&G's new V60 VHF radio. It features inductive charging, so there are no contacts to corrode, and can take full control of the VHF from anywhere on board.
Stay safer on the water with the V100 series VHF marine radios, both featuring built-in GPS receiver and the V100-B featuring Class-B AIS transceiver*. With a possible 8 connected handsets (4 wired and 4 wireless) and 4 external speakers, stay connected from anywhere on board. *V100-B only.
The V20S is perfect as a standalone VHF system in the cockpit or at the navigation station. The sleek low-profile design, clear bright display, and easy button access are combined with key features including all international channels. It's Class D DSC Approved and NMEA2000 compatible
Automatic Identification System (AIS) is an automated tracking system that transmits via an onboard antenna. Whilst some offshore races require AIS, there is currently no requirement for pleasure craft to fit an AIS system. However, many yachts, especially those venturing further offshore, sailing at night or in areas of reduced visibility find AIS a valuable aid to help avoid potential collisions.
Some of our VHFs already include AIS receivers or even transmitters, or you can fit our compact, fully featured NAIS-500 AIS transponder. For the ultimate simple installation, pair it with a NSPL antenna splitter to utilise your existing VHF antenna.
