B&G is proud to be supporting Natasha Lambert, BEM multi award-winning disabled sailor and adventurer in her latest challenge, the ARC 2020. Natasha began sailing at age 9, and despite being born with quadriplegic cerebral palsy has since been enduring various challenges and pushing herself to the limit, and raise money for charity. She is now preparing to begin her biggest challenge yet, the ARC, beginning on 22nd November, guided by B&G.
In August 2018, Natasha took delivery of her new boat, a Bavaria Nautitech Open 46, named “Blown Away,” which was fitted with a full B&G system. The equipment on board includes Zeus™3, Triton² instrument displays, NAC3 autopilot computer, H90 radio with AIS and H50 handheld radio. Natasha’s father Gary has developed a sip and puff control system, which is integrated with the B&G system on board, allowing Natasha to control the boat herself.
